Nowadays the filmmaking have been exposed to a large extent which bought a drastic change in the film industry. The story telling of films are no more surrounded near some few subjects. Many renowned filmmakers have been experimental with films changing the scenario of the film industry.  In this blog, I will be discussing about such amazing filmmakers and their films. Mimi vs Chori Chori Chupke Chupke breaking taboos

The bollywood film Mimi is a mildly engaging comedy drama directed by Laxaman Utekar, released in netflix seems to be breaking taboos and talking about surrogacy. Although in 2001, the film Chori Chori Chupke Chupke was based on surrogacy directed by Abbas Mustan turned out to be a romantic drama. Kriti Sanon plays the character of Mimi,the surrogate mother. Pankaj Tripathi being the driver in the film plays the role of Bhanu who later supports the protagonist in the process of motherhood while Salman Khan and Rani Mukherjee being the husband and wife in the film Chori Chori Chupke Chupke plays the role of Raj, Priya and Madhubala, the escort being the surrogate mother played by Preity Zinta. Assamese Film is the regional film industry of Assam. This industry is also know as Jollywood named for Agarwala's Jyoti Chitraban Film Studio. The old acclaimed assamese films gave a new dimension to films in the field of art and culture. They gave a new direction and led to innovation in the films.   In 1935, the renowned filmmaker Rupkonwar Jyotiprasad Agarwala has directed his masterpiece Joymoti which set out to be a benchmark in the film arena. It was the first assamese film which created history. It was the first Indian talkie to have used dubbing and Re-recording Technology and also the first to engage with realism and politics in Indian cinema. Haseen Dilruba

The film Haseen Dilruba released in netflix begins with a crime through the testimony of the prime suspect. The police suspects the wife of the alleged victim behind the murder. Then the wife narrates the story of her dramatic marriage to the police. The main characters are played by Tapsee Pannu as Rani Kashyap, who is accused for the murder. Vikrant Massey plays the role of Rishabh Saxena, the alleged victim of the crime. Harshvardhan Rane plays the role of the cousin of Rishabh and Aditya Shrivastava is inspector Kishore Ranawat who is given the task of cracking the case. In the first half, it was mildly entertaining when Rishu aka Rishabh came to visit her house for the first time for the purpose of marriage.
